She does change. In fact, the English language may represent the perfect model of evolution. Check out In Praise of Anarchy. Of course, I know you wouldn't want to excuse your failure to use the language in a way that other people can understand with the failure of English to keep up with your evolutionary schedule. That would be like using the fact that the rules of baseball evolve to allow you five or six strikes at bat.
